Chapter of the year for 23 years!
At them 2015 State Business Leadership Conference the Elgin chapter took home the award of "Chapter of the year" for the 23rd year in 2A schools. This marks the 5th year in a row Elgin has won the title and the 19th time in the last 20 years!

On June 29th, five of our Elgin FBLA chapter members will be attending the 2015 National Leadership Conference. This year's National Leadership Confernce will be held in Chicago, Illinois.
SBLC
April 6-9th is the 2016 State Business Leadership Conference. As always, SBLC will be held in Portland, OR at the Doubletree Hotel. Elgin FBLA will depart from Elgin on the morning of April 6th. Advisor Katie Griffin and Chapter Officer have worked diligently to plan an exciting and educational trip that will include a campus tour of Portland State University, attending the Portland Trailblazers game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and of course two day full of intense business compeition. Elgin FBLA will have 24 student competitors all vying for a chance to attend National Leadership Conference.

On June 29th our Elgin chapter hopes to send members from our chapter that quallify to attend the 2016 National Leadership Conference. This years National Leadership Conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia.
